The Adventures of Robin Hood, written and directed by Karen Flores, was presented by the St. John’s School’s drama department from April 30 to May 2. Consisting of nearly 60 students, the production was a combination of comedy, adventure and social commentary great for all ages.
Director and writer, Karen Flores, says she chose Robin Hood so that students would be able to visit a period that would present an acting challenge for all. “Robin Hood was the first play that I directed for a fifth grade class over ten years ago,” Flores explained. “This production is much more sophisticated and is on a much grander scale; the audience is sure to love this version of Robin Hood.”
