Jump Rope for Heart

Not only is jumping rope good exercise and lots of fun, but students can also help raise life-saving donations for the American Heart Association.

This year the St. John’s family, with the help and coordination of PE teacher Mrs. Shipman, has very generously supported the American Heart Association through the Jump Rope for Heart program and raised over $2,300.

Jump Rope for Heart encourages kids to get active by skipping rope while they collect pledges for heart disease and stroke research. Over the years, the funds raised through Jump Rope for Heart has helped advance the vital research that helps thousands of families affected by serious heart conditions.
