2017 High School Honors Performance Series

10th grade violinists Elizabeth Su and Kaela Kim were selected to perform for the 2017 High School Honors Performance Series at the Sydney Opera House, Australia. Elite student performers from 41 states, including Guam, Canada and a number of foreign countries had the opportunity to visit and perform in Sydney, Australia from July 7-12, 2017.

Selected Finalists were privileged to work with master conductors, rehearse and interact with fellow international peers and experience the highlights of Sydney. Participation in one of the two Honors Ensembles, Honors Choir or Honors String Orchestra, is limited to the highest-rated high school performers from across the world.

The two St. John’s School students were accompanied by music teachers, Mr. Norman Babia and Mrs. Ludy Ko. The Honors Performance took place in July 10.
