Knights Help Guam’s Foster Children

St John’s Senior and Guam Girl Scout Katelee McCormic spearheaded an undergarment drive for foster children at Harvest House and was able to gather a huge number of donated new undergarments in a variety of sizes to help restock Harvest House’s supply.
Katelee thanks all the knights who donated to the undergarment drive and was humbled by the experience. Her heart grew as she brought the donation to their facility located on the Harvest campus in Barrigada, where she had the opportunity to hold one of the youngest foster children, meet with a few of the other children and spoke with Harvest House director Bethany Taylor.  When children are placed in the foster care system, they bring nothing with them- so receiving some new underwear is such a small item that means so much to them.
From Harvest House “Thank you so much for your gracious donation! It already has been a blessing to many children/teens.”
Thank You Katelee for your caring spirit and showing us what it means to be a knight!!
