NATIONAL MERIT SEMI-FINALISTS

Eight St. John’s School Seniors have been identified as semi-finalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.

About 1.6 million students in more than 22,000 high schools entered the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. From that group, the National Merit Scholarship Program selected 16,000 students throughout the world as semi-finalists.

17 students from Guam were identified as semi-finalists; 8 of those students are from St. John’s School.

St. John’s would like to congratulate Davin Yang, Amy Seo, Sarah Wilkinson, Darren Chen, Chammy Choi, Raizel Yu, Anne Wen, and Brandon Yu for achieving this honor.
