Four St. John’s upper school students represented Guam in the 15th Annual Japan Super Science Fair (JSSF) last November 2-8, 2017, which was hosted by Ritsumeikan High School in Kyoto, Japan. Over 172 students from 24 countries and regions attended the annual fair. Students had the opportunity to present their innovative research works, share their bright ideas and collaborate with like-minded peers. This year, representing St. John’s School were:
Alexandra Chua (Sophomore) – Harnessing Sound as a Means of Energy
Patrick Jun (Junior) – The Mimosine Effect
Daniel Su (Senior) – Generating Energy Using Earth-Coupled Thermoelectric Modules
Allister Liu (Senior) – Testing the Eco-Cooler System
