108 golfers filled the challenging course on Saturday, November 4, participating in St. John’s annual golf tournament celebrating its 55th year anniversary, held at Onward Mangilao Golf Resort. The golf tournament featured a two-person scramble select shot.

In addition to the 18-hole scramble play, participants enjoyed the variety of competitions, including Hole-In-One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and other skill tests. An Acura RDX and Buick Encore were up for grabs for the Hole-in-One challenge.

After the exciting day of golf, players were treated to an award banquet dinner. During the banquet, trophies were awarded to the top 3 team low net winners and numerous raffle prizes were distributed to the lucky ticket holders.

The first place winners of this year’s tournament were Anna Van Seters & Mimi Salinas, followed by Halen Carbonel and Aniceto Mandanas in second. Spencer Steffy and TJ Hubert finished in third place. Additionally, Wanna Vongjalorn and Nalathai Vongjalorn scored the top team low gross.

The players all had a great time, but more importantly, proceeds from the tournament went towards the St. John’s Knights for Knights scholarship program, providing assistance to local students in need who wish to attend St. John’s.

A big thank you to our many sponsors, supporters, volunteers and other donors for making this year’s tournament a huge success.
