Phone Book Roundup 2017

Congratulations St. John’s Environmental Club for winning first place in the GTA, IT&E and Yellow Ink Phone Book Roundup contest. The recycling contest commenced in early 2016 and concluded towards the end of the 2016-2017 school year.

St. John’s School collected a total of 13,745 phonebooks, taking the first place prize of $2,000. The earnings from the contest went towards the club funds and expenses.

On Wednesday, November 29, Ms. Peggy Denney, Program Administrator of i*Recycle, together with sponsors and representatives from participating schools of the phone book roundup contest dropped by St. John’s School for a group pictorial, displaying the successful community-based participation and initiative Guam has on recycling.
