In the spirit of giving, the SJS National Honor Society hosted a holiday drive to give back to the community from November 25th to December 4th. The items collected for the drive included gently used clothing, shoes, and backpacks. With the help from the St. John’s community, about 3000 items were collected and donated to Island Girl Power and the Lågu Foundation (part of the GDOE Student Support Services Division) to help better serve our island community.
Through the NHS KnightsGiving Drive, the middle and upper school students had the opportunity to earn a free casual week from December 16th to 19th (exam week) by hitting the drive goals of 5 items donated per student. Additionally, Lower School students participated in the KnightsGiving Drive and classes who met a specific goal earned a free casual day.
