The University of Guam’s College of Natural and Applied Sciences hosted its annual Chemistry Titration Competition for high school students on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Titration is a common laboratory method or process for determining the quantity or concentration of a substance in a solution. Awards were given to students with the highest score in the team, individual, and laboratory skill categories.
This year, St. John’s School competed against eight other local high schools. Of the nine awards being given, St. John’s took home four.

1st place: Liam Padua and Kai-Li Updegrove
2nd place: AJ Morales and Seohee Min
Individual award:
1st place: Kai-Li Updegrove
3rd place: AJ Morales
