St. John’s School students participated in the 2019 Guam Law Day Essay competition at both the Middle and High School Levels.
On April 22, 2019, St. John’s School middle and upper school students participated in Island Leadership Day. Hosted by the Guam Department of Youth Affairs, the program allows students from all over Guam to work alongside the highest officials in the different agencies within GovGuam.
St. John’s placed first in the MathCounts Competition this year, taking 7 out of the top 10 spots. The competition was held on March 9 at the Pacific Star Resort & Spa.
St. John’s mathletes took first place at the Math Quiz Competition held during the University of Guam’s 11th Annual Math Day on April 13 at the UOG Lecture Hall.
Congratulations to the Middle School Academic Challenge Bowl Team (MS ACB) for winning the island-wide Middle School ACB Competition, which ran from October 2018 to March 2019.
St. John’s students represented the school exceptionally well at this year’s Guam History Day Island-wide Competition by placing high in several categories. The competition was held on March 23, 2019 at the University of Guam.
Two of St. John’s creative, young artists won in their respective age category at this year’s Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
St. John’s middle and upper school students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), National Honor Society (NHS), and Tri-M Music Honor Society last Tuesday, March 12 in the school chapel.
Five St. John’s students did exceptionally well in their respective divisions at the 2019 Young Artist Competition on January 23 to 24.
Four of our St. John’s students placed high at the annual energy poster contest for schools sponsored by the Guam Energy Office. This year’s theme was “Energy Efficiency for a Sustainable Future”.
