A sibling duo from St. John’s School both recently won first place in their respective categories at the 75th Guam Liberation Day Children’s Art Contest.
Congratulations to six of our St. John’s students who garnered top awards in the 2019 International Young Scientists Innovation Exhibition (IYSIE) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 8-12, 2019. This event was organized by the Malaysia Young Scientist Organization (MYSO).
Twenty St. John’s students won top awards after impressing the judges and visitors with their inventive projects at this year’s 41st Island Wide Science Fair held on May 11 at the University of Guam Science Building.
St. John’s School students participated in the 2019 Guam Law Day Essay competition at both the Middle and High School Levels.
On April 22, 2019, St. John’s School middle and upper school students participated in Island Leadership Day. Hosted by the Guam Department of Youth Affairs, the program allows students from all over Guam to work alongside the highest officials in the different agencies within GovGuam.
St. John’s placed first in the MathCounts Competition this year, taking 7 out of the top 10 spots. The competition was held on March 9 at the Pacific Star Resort & Spa.
St. John’s mathletes took first place at the Math Quiz Competition held during the University of Guam’s 11th Annual Math Day on April 13 at the UOG Lecture Hall.
Congratulations to the Middle School Academic Challenge Bowl Team (MS ACB) for winning the island-wide Middle School ACB Competition, which ran from October 2018 to March 2019.
St. John’s students represented the school exceptionally well at this year’s Guam History Day Island-wide Competition by placing high in several categories. The competition was held on March 23, 2019 at the University of Guam.
