On April 22, 2019, St. John’s School middle and upper school students participated in Island Leadership Day. Hosted by the Guam Department of Youth Affairs, the program allows students from all over Guam to work alongside the highest officials in the different agencies within GovGuam.
Hundreds of early risers laced up their running shoes and participated in the St. John’s 11th Annual “Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies” Family Fun Run.
Mes CHamoru, or Chamorro Month, is celebrated annually in the month of March when the Guam community discovers and reflects on the island’s language and culture.

St. John’s middle and upper school students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), National Honor Society (NHS), and Tri-M Music Honor Society last Tuesday, March 12 in the school chapel.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, the Chinese School of Guam’s Lion Dance Team visited the Dale J. Jenkins Gymnasium to perform the traditional lion dance on February 7, 2019.
The Most Reverend Michael B. Curry, 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church, will speak on “Diversity and Inclusion” on Sunday, September 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the St. John’s School Gymnasium. St. John’s Church and School invite the community to attend this free event.
In celebration of the newly renovated gym floor, St. John’s School will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, in time for the new school year. The ceremony will take place in front of the Dale J. Jenkins Gymnasium at 1:45 PM.
