This year the St. John’s School Music Department participated in the 2020 Tumon Bay Music Festival. The music festival ran from February 27 to March 7 in various venues.
Congratulations to the St. John’s High School Glee Club for winning first place in the high school division and the “Best in Show” overall at the Agana Shopping Center’s 7th Annual Holiday Songfest competition on November 30, 2019 at Agana Shopping Center.
St. John’s School Glee Club has been invited by the Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) to participate in a performance of Christopher Tin’s Calling All Dawns on the DCINY Concert Series in New York City. This performance is planned to take place on Sunday, March 23, 2020 in David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts under the baton of Composer/Conductor Christopher Tin.
St. John’s School would like to congratulate the St. John’s Glee Club for winning gold and the Orchestra for winning silver at the 2019 Tumon Bay Music Festival.
Fourteen St. John’s orchestra and glee club students had the opportunity to visit Cebu, Philippines last July 15-23, 2018 to participate in the Miss Saigon School Edition.
Congratulations to the St. John’s High School Glee Club for taking second place in the high school division at the Guam Chamber of Commerce 5th Annual Song Fest “Old Times Rock ‘n Roll” competition on November 25, 2017 at Agana Shopping Center.
