In the spirit of giving, the SJS National Honor Society hosted a holiday drive to give back to the community from November 25th to December 4th. The items collected for the drive included gently used clothing, shoes, and backpacks.
On Saturday, April 6th, 2019, the St. John’s School Chapter of the National Honor Society performed a Beautification and Volunteering Project for Guma Trankilidat, the manamko (senior) center in Tamuning.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the St. John’s School Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) portrayed the spirit of giving back to the community by volunteering at Guam Animals in Need (GAIN) in Yigo last January 20 and 21.
After Typhoon Yutu, the strongest storm to hit US soil ravaged through the Northern Mariana Islands, St. John’s School launched a donation drive to raise money and gather supplies for the residents of Tinian affected by Typhoon Yutu.
St. John’s middle and upper school students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), National Honor Society (NHS), and Tri-M Music Honor Society last Wednesday, March 7 in the school chapel.
