St. John’s School celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2034 kindergarten class in the Lower School Courtyard on Wednesday, June 1st. Disney’s Encanto was the theme for this year’s graduation. Twenty-six kindergarteners were called forth by their teachers, Mrs. Julie Perez and Mrs. Mickalina Reid, to receive their certificates of promotion and personalized candles.
After the presentation of certificates, the young graduates performed “What Else Can I Do,” followed by “Graduation Day!” to pay tribute to their parents.
Four upper school juniors, Blase Ramos, Justine Xu, Elizabeth Chen, and Zoe Ayala, surprised the graduates by performing the Encanto hit song, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
Congratulations to all of our Kindergarten graduates!
