On Friday, April 19, St. John’s School hosted a memorable sequence of events in the school gym. The day began with the Lower School Spring Concert at 10:30 AM, followed by the Middle and Upper School concert at 1:30 PM. The theme for this year’s performances centered around delightful songs from musicals.
During the Middle and Upper School concert, there were two significant tributes: one to Mrs. Lois Skanse, our esteemed religion teacher who is retiring after 42 years of dedicated service, and the class of 2024, our graduating seniors.
The concerts showcased the incredible talents of the school’s orchestras, handbells, and bands, along with captivating performances from various classes, creating an exhilarating day filled with music and dance.
In the Senior Tribute, kindergarten students adorned seniors with lays, ushering them to their seats as the concert commenced. Following this was a heartfelt tribute to Mrs. Skanse, where every class crafted and presented posters celebrating her time here at St. John’s School.
