Tennis Pro, Michael-Ray Pallares visits St. John’s School

St. John’s fifth grade class was visited by a professional tennis player, Michael-Ray Pallares Gonzáles alongside Torgun Smith, Board President of the Guam National Tennis Federation (GNTF) last September 20, 2018. It was disclosed during the visit that the GNTF had donated tennis equipment to the school. The donated equipment will enable students to familiarize themselves with the sport and further engage themselves in healthy competition among peers. Michael-Ray and Torgun also briefly explained the benefits of tennis and catered to the students’ enquiries.

According to the GNTF, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) expert will be on Guam for two months assisting with the Development of National Sports System (DNSS) for Guam Tennis by enhancing the performance of their coaches and national players.
